Retail SMEs seek two-month extension window for GST compliance

Given how ill-prepared retail trade is to implement GST, Mr. Prashant Lohia, CEO of Ginesys, took the initiative to write to the Union Minister of Finance and Chairman of the GST Council, Mr. Arun Jaitley, on behalf of SME retailers across India. He sought a two-month transition period for complete GST compliance.

National level retail industry leaders like V-mart, SRS, MD retail India, Max Standard, RS Brothers, Vedant Fashions, Turtle, etc.  are a part of this initiative.
